EVHS Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The construction and remodel project for East Valley High School is officially complete! A world-wide pandemic and the ensuing material/supply shortages may have delayed our official Grand Opening, but it is now time to celebrate and enjoy this beautiful community asset. EVSD Family Night Series

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, children have experienced more stress from changes in their routines, breaks in the continuity of learning and health care, missed life events, and an overall loss of security and safety. Children and teens are struggling in ways that we have not seen before. This presentation will cover: signs to watch for in your children, anxiety and depression, ways for parents to help their children thrive and how to seek appropriate mental health care when needed.

DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED FOR FAMILIES WHO RSVP BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022.

Any RSVPs after this date are still welcome to attend the presentation.

CHILDCARE/ACTIVITIES will be provided for children, grades K-5. Grades 6-12 may attend with their family.

State Route 24 Survey

Do you drive State Route 24 between Moxee and Interstate 82? The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is asking for the East Valley community to participate in their online survey (click headline for link).

New EV Athletic Director, Jim West (Read More)

The East Valley School District is thrilled to announce the hiring of our new Athletic Director, Jim West.
Jim West grew up in Bainbridge Island, WA. He has an extensive athletic, coaching, teaching, and administrative background. Mr. West played football at Western Oregon University, while earning a bachelor of science in Business Administration and Economics. After a three-year career at Boeing, Mr. West returned to college and obtained his teaching certificate at Central Washington University while also coaching defensive backs for the Wildcats.

We’re Hiring! Substitute Bus Drivers

Starting pay: $22.48 per hour

Why substitute? Great opportunity for retirees, stay-at-home parents who have children in school and want something that aligns with their school schedule, and anyone who may want to earn a little more $$ each month.

• Bus drivers are given everything they will need to succeed; including comprehensive training. No experience necessary. Classes to obtain license will be provided.
• Substitute drivers who work 630 hours or more in one school year become eligible for medical benefits.
